POST #8 - Girl from Ipanema

Hello everyone!

This week I'll be posting a song "Girl from Ipanema". The following song is a Brazilian Bossa Nova song. I first heard hit on a CD when I was 3 years old back in 1998. The first version is by Eliane Elias from the album Eliane Elias sings Jobim. The second one is a performance by Lisa Watanabe Ono. In my opinion, I love her version the best! Finals are coming up pretty soon - hang in there folks! Enjoy!

Have a great week everyone!

Hi everyone!

For this weeks post, I will be posted a few versions of the song "Top of the World" by Carpenters. This is one of Carpenters' top hit songs. I never heard this song in a while until a cover of this song randomly appeared on my youtube page.

- The first video is a cover by the singer Shane Bricks.
- The second video is a JAL JetStream Orchestra version of this song.
- The last video is a piano version of this song.

Enjoy!

POST #5: "Manatsu no Sounds good!" by AKB48. (This post will be updated more through the weekend)

Hello everyone!

This week I will be posting songs that get me into a rhythm when I study! This may not be your taste, but it gets me going. Also, coffee helps a lot too! The first song is called "Manatsu no Sounds Good!" by AKB48. I have first posted the actual song; then the next one is the instrumental version (supposed to be tailored to karaoke theme); the third one of this song is the piano version of it; and the last version is the guitar version (very good!). Hope you guys enjoy it! I will be updating this post if I find more songs!

Have a great weekend everyone and best of luck to your exams!

UPDATED: the current song that I 'm going to upload later on is called "Present pleasure" by Z.O.O. In particular, this song has that "night drive" feel to it. It just gets me pumped up. Taking your car out for night drives and listening to these types of music is the best feeling!
