This week I'll be posting a song "Girl from Ipanema". The following song is a Brazilian Bossa Nova song. I first heard hit on a CD when I was 3 years old back in 1998. The first version is by Eliane Elias from the album Eliane Elias sings Jobim. The second one is a performance by Lisa Watanabe Ono. In my opinion, I love her version the best! Finals are coming up pretty soon - hang in there folks! Enjoy!
Have a great week everyone!
I used to love that song too!! Thankfully, they have an oldies station here, and when this song pops up, my mind went wild! Great post, Kona!! :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful! I love this song too! :D It always finds a way to soothe me in some magical way hahaha. If you're willing to try another, different version, check out John Holt's one! It has a much more reggae vibe to it, but I just love it.
